I’ve always had a love for computers. My dad introduced me to computers at a very young age. I was nine years old and the system was an IBM PC 8086, with a monochrome green monitor. I was introduced to Bulletin Board Systems at the same time. We then moved to Germany until I was eleven and we did not get to use the computer much or dial a BBS as the cost was per minute.
Once I got back from Germany, I kept at the computer; it intrigued me. I was playing a game, Dragon’s Claw, on a local BBS. I was stuck in a dungeon for several days, so I decided to try FIDONET for help. I noticed the game’s developer was the same guy who ran the BBS I was dialed into, so I sent an FIDONET mail to him. He assisted me through the dungeon, and I made a friend, Sean Price.
Sean Price also introduced me to OS/2 and Pascal. Later, he would introduce me to C and C++. I would be typing for eons if I shared my entire history.
I later joined the Air Force, retired, and now I do many things. For several years, people have asked me what I am up to, and I always freeze because I have too much to share. That is why I am making this site my hub of madness.

I love using the command line interface over a graphical user interface. I have a mini datacenter or computer science laboratory in my office. It is all on it’s own subnet and the command line makes things work so much smoother as I play in my computer lab.
I also absolutly love getting lost in video games. Too many to count but I love all systems. I own systems going back to the Atari 2600. I want to get ahold of an Commadore 64 soon. I am in the process of learning how to program for those systems and the NES, SNES, and just 8 bit in general.
